Avid Membership Site Retention
Posted by Trevor Weir in Sales on August 17th, 2009
Running a membership site can be a little hard particularly if it appears that your members are leaving faster than they are coming in. However, while this is without doubt quite a problem for you, your members may be having a different problem and that is perception of value for their time and or money.
Giving the impression of value is very important if you want to get members and keep paying members. People want to feel like they have gotten more than they paid for. It’s true that some may not gripe about getting fundamentally good information, however this should not stop you from attempting to raise the perception bar significantly. Nothing is more potent that word of mouth advertising
There are a couple of ways to increase this perception and one is the offer of special bonuses. These can be either announced or unannounced. Using a combination of both works well because you get people excited, and you make them feel like you really care when they get something they weren’t expecting. So, what kinds of bonuses would your site members think are great? What about bonuses related to additional material such as Private Label products related to your niche that you might pick up inexpensively. These can be for you to purchase and the perceived increased value can be quite high!
Other things one might do is offer multiple forms of content. We are not saying that all content needs to be in audio, video and text — though that wouldn’t be a bad idea, lol. For example, you could create an article, a video, and audio that all get the same basic information across, but in different formats. Having audio, video and text enables the material to find resonance with many different audience learning styles. You’ll be satisfying more members without having to do much additional work.
One of my media instructors, taught me that sometimes, contrary to what your mom told you, cheating is the best way. That totally interesting video that you shot has an audio track that can be re-used and re syndicated perhaps even as a podcast. Look mom, no additional work. You can then have the video transcribed in the form of text. Voil! You now have three different formats to give your members and enable them to feel as if they are getting a much stronger value from your membership site!
Another thing you can do is make sure your site looks professional. While you might be able to get away with a very basic site, doing simple things like adding graphics and having a nice layout can go a long way to giving a great impression of value. My teachers have always told me not to judge a book by its cover — and guess what ? I rarely ever heeded that important advice. I nearly always buy books based on theimaginative cover designs and though I have no hard empirical proof I suspect many others do too! When your membership site looks nice, people will likely have a better impression of it.
Try to do all of the above mentioned tips. A rule of thumb is give 10 times the monthly value and your clients won’t leave. When your members are impressed and happy with what you’re doing, word-of-mouth will spread and your members will continue their membership. Remember the first 30 days are the most critical. Soon enough you’ll have built this into a wonderful membership site that people are proud to be a part of.
Affiliate Commissions Straight To Your Paypal Account
Posted by Todd Schuyler in Sales on August 13th, 2009
Is it possible to start a internet home business that pays commissions directly to your PayPal cccount without you having to find a product, design a webSite, write a sales copy or find web hosting? I heard these claims being made by Instant Pay Sites.
I was very skeptical at first by the claims that I could have a instant home business that would pay me affiliate commissions straight to my PayPal account. This claim by instant pay sites was the main attraction for me. I liked the idea of getting paid directly or very soon after payment is made on a affiliate sale. Unfortunately the normal procedure with affiliate programs is you must reach a minimum amount or wait for the monthly commissions.
I went to their website and was very impressed by what they offer. I signed up for their program and started testing out their system. I could not believe how simple it was to set everything up. You can customize your sites and set your own prices on all the products.
They have nearly two hundred products connected to my Paypal account. When someone purchases a product I get paid directly to my PayPal account. I soon noticed some money added to my account. I went to my instant pay sites back office and saw someone purchased one of my products. I was very excited to see the potential earnings that could be possible with instant pay sites.
In my opinion it doesn’t get any easier than this. I remember what it was like when I first started out working from home, and looking for the perfect home business opportunity that would earn me money working at home. It wasn’t easy to find the right vehicle to get me where I wanted to be. I can honest say this is a unbelievable home business opportunity.

Buy Cheap Fashion Watches from China Wholesaler
Posted by Mettew Cheng in Sales on August 7th, 2009
For hundreds of years, Swiss clockmakers have set the standards by which clocks, and more recently watches, are judged. Today, Swiss watches are admired for their exquisite design and build quality. Rolex have carved their niche as the worlds number one status symbol, exclusive to the rich and famous. Swatch, on the other hand, target a slightly different demographic and are now the worlds largest manufacturer of watches.
Many countries produce and export high quality watches. Yet, ask anyone on the street which country makes the best watches and 9 times out of 10 the answer will be Switzerland. So, how did Switzerland and watches become synonymous?
1541 (the year, not 19 minutes to 5)
To find the answer we need to turn the clock back to 1541. In this year Jean Calvin implemented a series of statute reforms to impose a strict and uncompromising moral code on the city of Geneva which, amongst other things, prohibited the wearing of jewels. This forced jewellers and goldsmiths to turn to a new craft, clock making. By the end of the 16th century Swiss clocks, particularly those from Geneva had already gained widespread recognition for their high quality and craftsmanship.
The tradition of quality and detail has been upheld for over five centuries, I doubt if there is any industry can make this claim. Swiss watch making somehow manages to combine state-of-the-art technology and innovation with creativity and passion. The results are evident: the first wristwatch, the first quartz watch, the first water resistant wristwatch, the thinnest wristwatch in the world, the smallest or the most expensive watch in the world, etc.
Status and the feel good factor
Brands were originally developed as labels of ownership, an early example would be branding of cattle to indicate ownership. Today, it is what brands do for people that matters, how they define their aspirations, image and status. Its doubtful if any brands manage this better than Longines, Rolex, Breitling, Tissot and dozens of others Swiss watch manufactures.
This success has created a black market where counterfeiters imitate the look of the most expensive Swiss watches. The build quality is usually poor, few actually keep time and the wearer will always know he is wearing a fake ” so will anyone that knows anything about watches.
Fortunately, the activities of the counterfeiter do little damage, the type of consumer that buys counterfeits is hardly likely to ever be in a position to own the real thing or experience the feel good factor that comes with it!
Get real
According to Swiss law a watch can only be considered Swiss if it is manufactured in Switzerland, its movement is Swiss (see below) and the manufacturer carries out the final inspection in Switzerland.
For the watch movement to be considered Swiss the movement must be assembled in Switzerland the movement has been inspected by the manufacturer in Switzerland and the components of Swiss manufacture account for at least 50 percent of the total value, excluding the cost of assembly.
Boost Your Sales With Effective Copywriting
Posted by Mary Piers in Sales on August 7th, 2009
Are you wondering what is the best way to make your visitors purchase your products? Well, it is not all about traffic and if you want your company to perform great online, you need to pay more attention to such thing as copywriting. Here are main principles which will help you to create an effective sales message.
Creating a sales page can be divided into following parts: Attracting attention, Problem, Story, Logic, Objections, Testimonials, Guarantee, Action, Power PS. This is how a sales page is constructed. It starts with getting peoples attention by creating a headline in which you should mention some benefit or problem that can be solved with your product.
After you have persons attention, you inform people of some problem and what it may lead to. The next step is to sell the emotional benefit of having the problem resolved. Try to involve people emotionally in your story and make them a part of the experience.
When a customer is in the emotional state, you start using facts and statistics. The main objective you will have to overcome at this stage is not willing to spend the money, but if you have made everything correctly prior, this will not be hard.
The next thing you need to take care about is testimonials. In case you don’t have them yet, let your friends try the product and write a review for you or just ask an expert for it. Then you need to take care of some kind of guarantee to protect the customer. Offer something more than money back guarantee, as you can lose much more time on using a product that doesn’t work.
Finally, you need to give instructions to your customers on what exactly they have to do to benefit from your offer. Creating an urgency is very important when it comes to buying, but for those who didn’t make a decision straight away, you need to have a powerful and motivating PS.

Make The Beautiful Jewelry You Want

Jewelry making is interesting work for children who wish to make jewelry of silver and other metals. It is an ancient and honorable craft which has unlimited possibilities. It will introduce them to the skills and processes of an ancient and honorable craft which has unlimited possibilities.
An interesting feature of this type of craft work is that from the beginning, with a few essential tools, materials, and simple working drawings, one can learn to make really wearable jewelry. As in any craft, practice is necessary in order to acquire the workmanship which will give good results. The processes should be practiced many times.
The transition from simple to more advanced work can be accomplished by experimenting with units of metal which vary in size, shape and texture until a good workable design has been arranged. Then the sequence of the processes will be determined and the working plan made. In this way, the beginner will build up a knowledge of the craft which will inspire him to do more finished work.
Several inexpensive metals, both in sheet and wire form, can be used to make interesting jewelry. For the beginner, copper and brass are recommended because of their low cost, but even advanced jewelers who work almost exclusively in sterling silver frequently use copper and brass for variety and color.
As far as construction is concerned, all the metals named can be used interchangeably. When the beginning craftsman becomes more skillful he may want to work more often in sterling silver which, although it costs a little more, is a fine adaptable metal.
The different metals vary in hardness. Annealing is a heating process which is given to the metal to make it soft and pliable. Most of the metals may be purchased annealed. If the metal has to be annealed, lay it on a screen and hot plate until the heat turns it a glowing red, then set it aside to cool or plunge it into water for quick cooling.
COPPER is used in its pure metallic state. Its reddish-brown color gives it a warm outdoor quality. Cold rolled and annealed sheet is smooth and easy to work. It can be polished and lacquered for a permanent finish.
BRASS is an alloy of copper and zinc, harder than copper. It is gold in color. It takes a high polish and is lacquered to preserve the luster.
STERLING SILVER is an alloy of pure silver and a small percentage of another metal, usually copper, to harden it. It is a more precious metal than copper or brass, it is easy to work and can be finished in several different ways; polished for a soft luster, given a high polish, oxidized for depth of color and then polished for highlights.
IRON is taken from iron ore and, when treated, is both tough and flexible and can be pulled into wire. If lacquered, iron will not rust and its dark color and dull texture contrast well with the other metals used.
TIN has the whiteness of silver and is used in many important alloys, among them being solder. Tin is used for solder, in pure state or alloyed with lead.
Using any of the above metals, attractive and simple jewelry can be made by children with an interest in the field.
10 Tips For Choosing the Perfect Prom Jewelry
A prom dress without the proper adornments is like a Christmas tree with no ornaments: no matter how beautiful it is, it seems somehow naked. If you’ve ever watched celebrities walk down the red carpet you know that they realize the importance of accessories in order to “complete the package”. Tasteful and properly coordinated accessories can really bring an outfit together while ill matched pieces will often ruin the entire outfit.
It is often difficult to decide which accessories are perfect for prom since most of us do not have the luxury of celebrity stylists to offer advice and recommendations. Keeping the following suggestions in mind as you search for the perfect compliments to your prom outfit should help you avoid any glaringly horrid accessory mistakes. The number one, time-honored piece of advice for accessorizing and proms is this: less is more. It is better to err on the side of caution than to add too many accessories and become an eyesore.
When it comes to jewelry, it helps if you select jewelry that not only goes with the overall theme you are hoping to achieve with your dress and hairstyle, but also something that you would wear after the prom as well. You do not have to choose jewelry that matches your dress, it is more important to choose pieces that compliment your entire ensemble. Pearls are always a wise selection as they are elegant and beautiful while rarely being garish. They are also friendly to budgets that may be stretched a bit thin from the purchase of a prom dress.
Your hairstyle should be considered when selecting your jewelry also. If you are going for an updo, there are many wonderful jewelry options available. For these hairstyles, studs work wonderfully and allow for bolder choices in necklaces while drop earrings also look great with this hairstyle and call for keeping other jewelry a little simpler. The same goes with hair ornaments.
If you have long hair that you are wearing down, you will need earrings that are bold and make a statement. Hoops and chandelier style earrings work really well in this particular situation. Be sure you don’t overdo the accessorizing thing by pairing these bold earrings with bold necklaces and bracelets; you only need one piece of ‘loud’ jewelry.
There are many different types of prom dresses and the dress you will be wearing should have an impact on the jewelry you wear along with it. Below are some general guidelines that should help you make wiser jewelry decisions for your special night.
1) Spaghetti straps: If you are looking for one stand out piece of jewelry to wear with this type of dress, consider a wide cuff bracelet for that special piece. You can pair it easily with stud earrings or earrings that dangle but aren’t over stated. Be sure that your date won’t be brining a wrist corsage however as this will kill the statement that the bracelet makes.
2) Strapless: This particular dress is striking gold for the jewelry lover as you can choose a necklace that really makes a statement. Be sure to wear a necklace that is short with this particular type of dress rather than one that will meet the fabric. If you choose a simple necklace you are free to add bold earrings or a bracelet in order to add that little bit of zing!
3) Short sleeved dress: It is an excellent idea to bring attention to your arms by using stackable bracelets with this type of dress. Choose a simple necklace or even go without and let your bracelets make your statement for you. If you aren’t into bangles, try for a wide cuffed bracelet instead.
4) High-necked: With this type of dress, a necklace will only serve to compete with the neckline, skip it. Instead, choose an elegant bracelet and matching earrings, gemstones work best.
5) Square-necked: This dress is an excellent choice to show off a beautiful necklace. Keep that fact in mind when choosing your jewelry. You’ll want a necklace that you can show off and understated earrings and other accessories.
6) V-necked: using a matching necklace and earring set will work wonderfully with this neckline and compliment your look nicely.
7) Plunging: For this dramatic look try pinning an antique broach at the bottom of the plunge or wearing a pearl choker from dramatic flair. Diamond collars and simple ribbons also look great with this dress; you absolutely do not want a long necklace that will take away from the drama of the plunge.
Simple: A simple prom dress is like a blank canvas, it is completely up to you to make your statement. Use your imagination and have fun decorating yourself.
9) Ornate: It is very difficult to find complimentary jewelry for an ornate dress. The problem is that most jewelry will only serve to distract from the beauty of the dress. Perhaps the best jewelry in this situation is a bold cocktail ring.
10) Vintage: Bring it to the future with modern bangles or necklaces that are neatly layered. Simple jewelry also works wonderfully with this type of dress.
The important thing to remember is that moderation is almost always the best choice when selecting jewelry to accentuate a dress. You do not want your jewelry competing with either the dress or other pieces of jewelry. The most important thing is to have fun. Prom is a special night, but only the first of many more to follow.
